Cambridge AS Level Mathematics is set by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE). It is the first year of the A-Level pathway, typically studied by students aged 16 to 17, and is taught in international schools across the GCC and worldwide.
Assessment is entirely written examination. Students are graded A to E across two or three papers covering pure mathematics and an applied component. Grades count towards a full A-Level when the student continues to A2, or stand alone as a university entry credential.
