Abdul Haseeb

Abdul Haseeb trained as a biotechnologist before he trained students. His degree took him into a virology laboratory at a leading national research institute, where he worked on viral diagnostics, and he still teaches from that bench experience: a pathogen is something he has handled, not just a diagram in a textbook.

He holds a Cambridge University Press & Assessment certificate in assessment, which shapes how closely his lessons track what examiners reward. Over 7 years he has taught more than 20,000 hours across UK, Cambridge, IB and AP curricula, and he also teaches programming with Python and Scratch, so computational thinking turns up in his science lessons more often than most. He organised a university olympiad in 2024-25 and leads communications for a youth environmental movement.

Abdul Haseeb holds a BSc in Biotechnology and a Cambridge University Press & Assessment certificate in Focus on Assessment for O Level Biology, alongside a 2023 virology internship with viral diagnostics training and a 2025 Coursera programming certification.
