About the tutor

Ebad Aziz has taught Physics for over 15 years across more than 25,000 hours and 90 student batches. He is an MPhil Physics candidate with a Master of Science in Applied Physics (GPA 3.7+/4).

He is also a recognised YouTube educator, which shows in how he explains things: animations and demonstrations rather than chalk-and-talk. His teaching is unusually explicit about the mechanics of scoring — command words, mark scheme alignment, and the systematic way a calculation should be laid out. Students who struggle most with calculation tend to gain the most, because the method is taught as a repeatable routine rather than a knack.

Education

MPhil Physics candidate with a Master of Science in Applied Physics (GPA 3.7+/4). Recipient of the INSET 2022 Efficiency Award, and a recognised YouTube educator creating Physics content for students worldwide.

Teaching style

Ebad pairs deep Physics knowledge with digital methods and an unusually forensic approach to exam technique.

  • Command word mastery

Students learn to distinguish state, explain, describe, calculate and discuss, and to answer each as the examiner expects.

  • Mark scheme alignment

Every practice answer is benchmarked against the official mark scheme, so students see exactly where marks are awarded.

  • Structured calculation technique

List knowns, identify the formula, show the substitution, present the answer with correct units and significant figures.

  • Past paper drilling

Topical and yearly papers from CAIE, Edexcel and AQA, worked under timed conditions to build speed.

  • Practical and experimental questions

Describing experiments, identifying variables, plotting graphs and evaluating error — the areas where marks are quietly lost.

  • Diagram and graph skills

Circuit, ray and force diagrams practised with correct labelling, scales and lines of best fit.
