Muhammed Kumail Ruhani

Muhammed Kumail Ruhani is a particle physicist who teaches. His MPhil research covered quark-gluon plasma and quantum field theory, and he remains an active researcher at the National Centre for Physics, where his work on NLO corrections in the LPM effect led to a co-authored paper in high-energy physics.

That depth changes how he handles a syllabus. Rather than drilling formulae, he builds each topic from first principles until a student can predict what should happen before reaching for an equation. He is a graduate of the CERN School on LHC Physics, and he brings simulation and data-analysis work into lessons for students who want to see where the subject leads. He has taught for more than 5 years.

Kumail holds an MPhil in Physics with a research focus on quark-gluon plasma and quantum field theory, and a BS in Physics; he is a published co-author in high-energy physics and a graduate of the CERN School on LHC Physics.
