Nauman Nasir

Nauman Nasir teaches mathematics to students who have usually been told they are not mathematical. He starts with the idea rather than the method, reaching for analogies until the concept holds, and only then moves on to procedure and past papers.

A mathematics graduate with 5 years of full-time international teaching, he has worked with learners from primary level through to university preparation, across several boards and time zones. He reads a classroom quickly, noticing where a student's confidence broke long before the syllabus did, and adjusts pace and examples to cultural and academic backgrounds that vary widely. The result is a lesson that meets the learner where they are and still finishes on the specification.

Nauman holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and has built extensive classroom experience across international boards, with recognised strength in student psychology, classroom management and clear communication.

He teaches concept first and procedure second, on the view that a student who understands the idea will not need to memorise the method.
